Our beloved boy Mackenzie has given us so many precious memories. From jumping onto a stranger’s skateboard when we walked past a group of teenagers to running into a shop and stealing a bread roll, we’re alwayslaughing when he’s around.
We’re always laughing when he’s around
We have our ups and downs as a family, but Mackenzie is the glue that holds us all together. We’ll cherish our time with him forever.
Jovie is a rescue dog from Greece. We got her as a young pup at six months old and she’s been the greatest addition to our lives!
She adores children and can’t get enough cuddles from anyone who visits. Even though she’s a rescue, she’s the most laid back and affectionate dog and is completely unfazed by anything life has thrown at her. Jovie can even sense if you’re sad and will make you stroke her by pawing at your hand until you move.
She only gets grumpy is if I miss her snack
Her favourite place to be is in my arms, being held like a baby. She also loves to nuzzle into your neck (but she snores like a train, so I tend to lie her down next to me).
As the picture shows, she’s happiest when with me – her person. I work from home so she’s always with me. As long as I’m nearby, she’ll sleep with a smile on her face. In fact, the only time she gets grumpy is if I miss her 10:30 snack – no meeting is important enough that she should not have it, and our other dog Max helps her remind me, too!
We are lucky to have two beautiful dogs – Tiggy the springer, who turns two in September, and Bumble, who turns one in May.
After a very testing tour in the Middle East with the forces from 2019 to 2021, when we had to rehome our three beautiful dogs, coming home to the UK and being able to have dogs straight away was so important.
They bring so much fun to our family
They make us all happier and Bumble in particular does not miss a chance for a walk. So, you should never put your jacket on until you’re completely ready to go.
Tiggy, our little springer, is amazingly calm in the house and she cuddles in like a human. They both bring happiness, calm and so much fun to our family.
As a pup, Norman was a bit of an escapologist. He managed to escape out of the house and run off round the corner. He got into a garden and went in through an open back door. He was discovered by the homeowner when he heard a noise, turned around and found Norman sitting watching tv with him and his family!

Another time, he managed to squeeze under our garden fence and make his way into our neighbour’s house… where he was eventually found in her upstairs bedroom.
Frank is such a character. He absolutely loves cuddles. Being a Dachshund, he can usually be found snuggling under a blanket, or wrapped up in a cardigan all cosy and warm. He constantly tries to 'burrow' under the duvet if he’s on the bed.
He’ll appear in the doorway as if by magic
He also loves food, and his favourites includes eggs, toast and bananas. Frank can sense when one of us is eating a banana without him. Once youstart peeling, he’ll appear in the doorway as if by magic, ready for a bite!
I suffer from seizures, and Frank always senses when I am having one andwill not leave my side until I have recovered. He’s a firm part of our family
Bertie has been the gift of life for my wife and I after we lost our baby daughter at only two weeks old.
Thank you, Bertie
The dark days are brighter with Bertie, and he shows love like no other can. He makes my wife smile again, which I never thought possible after the dreadful time we went through.
Thank you, Bertie. You're a furry angel in disguise.
